My work is playful. I enjoy the childish game of making things move and watching in a perfectly nonsensical state of happiness as the balls roll down my sculptures. I like the shapes and lines that emerge out of wires. I strive to create my own aesthetic within my work as it evolves - to balance function and beauty.

 

I have made freestanding, wall-mounted and hanging sculptures. I like to imagine that the human scale of my sculptures makes them fit into a small corner of someone’s everyday life - and invites them to play.

 

My work is primarily soldered copper wire. I enamel copper, sculpt sheet metal, weld steel, use glass marbles and integrate pieces of wood.
